Spring Media Creative Lead Application

Spring Media is a backend retention marketing agency with 15-20 clients at any given moment. Our core service is retention marketing for e-commerce brands. We’re looking to take on a creative lead — strong copy and design is ideal for this role.

Role Type: Full-Time*, Remote

Be able to work briefly on weekends in case of urgent client matters or emergencies.

Job Description: We're looking for someone to fill the Creative Lead role on our growing team.

Who We're Looking For: A self-motivated, growth-seeking, creative individual who seeks to innovate in the e-commerce marketing space.

Salary: starting at $36,000 (USD), 30-day probation period, and will increase after this initial period is completed

Role Responsibilities: Writing copy and creating designs for multiple clients, working in a team consisting of a strategist, account manager, and tech-engineer.

Day-to-day tasks would be:

  • Writing on-brand email copy for clients
  • Designing on-brand emails for clients
  • Communicating with team members to stay aligned on projects, deadlines, etc.
  • Ensuring all creative projects/tasks are delivered on time and meet quality standards
  • Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in copywriting, graphic design, marketing creatives, and AI tools (only for creative tasks)
  • Conducting market research to identify & connect with each client's customer profile

You will NOT be considered for the role if you have not wrote/spent time reading/editing copy and producing design before. We're looking for someone with experience in writing direct-response copy and a creative eye for design.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required:

  • Up-to-date direct-response marketing, copywriting, and email marketing knowledge (and first-hand experience)
  • Adobe, Photoshop, and Figma proficiency
  • Minimum of 2-years experience in the e-commerce direct-to-consumer space
  • Minimum of 2-years experience creating emails for e-commerce brands and/or clients
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal, fluent, A+ english, no exceptions)
  • Confident customer service skills, eg. having calls with clients, taking feedback directly, etc.
  • Team player
  • Problem solver (have a figure it out attitude, no excuses)
  • Time efficiency (eg. maintaining schedules and hitting deadlines)
  • Be capable of delivering project deliverables same-day as needed
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Stress management (eg. working in fast-paced environments)
  • Over-delivering for clients and going the extra mile
